Description
One of the three (3) Starter Jobs which stand at the base of the Job Tree.

Those interested in Melee Combat or Defense often start out as a Soldier. Referred to as the Default Job, since those unable to choose often end up as Soldiers.

Soldiers have access to Medium Shields as well as both Medium and Heavy Armor. This gives them a solid defense should they seek it.

Weapons include big melee damage dealers like Axes, Maces, and Swords. Also included are Polearms which require the Soldier to forego a Shield but in exchange, extends their reach a bit outside melee range.

Their ability set revolves around dealing melee damage on the battlefield. They get a highly valued knockback ability in Rush, and can augment their own physical stats with Boost and Shift.

Likewise, their passives tend to increase survivability as well as damage output.
