Description
One of the three (3) Starter Jobs which stand at the base of the Job Tree.

Scouts are high mobility ranged combat units who can quickly switch roles on the battlefield as needed.

Up until recently Scouts have not had access to any shields. As the Crossbow and Dagger became more widely used, access to Light Shields was eventually added to the Job. Scouts benefit from a range of different stat bonuses with the ability to wear Light and Medium Armor.

As mentioned above, Scouts can wield Daggers, but the weapons of choice remain the Bow and Crossbow. The latter of which gaining in popularity when combined with a shield.

The ability set of a Scout favors damaging opponents while debilitating them or augmenting yourself or your allies. Hitting an enemy with Mark makes it easier for anyone on your team to land a hit while Hinder gives -1 to the target’s Move stat. Triage allows the Scout to give themselves a minor heal and remove debuffs such as Poison, Bleed, and Slow. Lastly, Lurk increases the Scouts evasiveness.

Scout, like Soldiers, have Passives that tend to increase damage output.
