Scenario Editor – May 9th 2022
Something I had to make a while back was a program I call the Scenario Editor. It’s essentially something that lets me script scenes and events and setup scenarios.
Over the past year or so, a lot of features have been added to the Scenario Editor. One of the more recent additions has been Triggers.
Triggers allow one event to trigger another, so for example in Scenario 9 when you kill a fire elemental, one of the braziers lights up. This is something I accomplished with Triggers.
While I remember, please visit our YouTube Channel for more detailed gameplay video!
Anyway, another trigger I setup was purely cosmetic, to create part of a scene found at the start of Scenario 9.
The lesson here is never stand too close to a door as you never know which way they swing.
First time animating a door, so it’s still a work in progress. It’s a lot of trial and error, mixing & matching different effects to try and get things looking nice.
Note: Remember, some of the images and gameplay depicted here may be outdated and does not represent the current state of the game!
