Knockbacks: Ranged – February 2nd 2022
Knockbacks are when a unit is pushed onto another tile due to an attack or collision. Until now this has been limited to melee attacks, but we now have the ability to cause a Knockback with a Ranged Attack.
If you are exactly diagonal from the target, it will try to knock them diagonally. Otherwise it chooses the most sensible direction based on angle. Shown in the above gif are attacks from 3 different locations.
Knockbacks default at one tile, but they can knock a unit back more than that.
