 +If you're a fan of TGs you'll recognize the importance of Alignment. I wanted a way to further diversify units who have the same Job. The Alignment system is one of the few personal aspects of the Units. Besides their Name and Gender, everything else is pretty much decided by the Job, so adding more depth to the units themselves is important.

 +Ethics are moral principles that govern a person'​s behavior or conduct relating to an activity. This is how a unit behaves given a context or moral guidelines from an outside source, be it the government or those in power of an Order. The Ethical part of a unit's alignment can be one of three types, all of which follow the standard DnD definitions.

Without getting too into the endless iterations of morality and ethical implications,​ we're going to stick to the 10 basic types, including Unaligned which is not available for Units. Story characters will have Alignments set already which may possibly change. Units you hire, however, can be selected to be of a certain alignment.

 +Alignments serve more purpose than just fleshing out characters. They ultimately create a unique modification to a unit's growth as they level up. Each Alignment has a minor difference in various Stat Growths and will ultimately come out ahead in one stat and behind in another.

 +What stats go with what alignment will be studied further. For now I do have the Alignment System fully implemented and plan to use it to create specialty Jobs that can only be attained by those with certain Moral and Ethical affinities. For example: Jobs such as Knight may lead to Dark Knight or White Knight depending on your Alignment.
