A Scout is a Job that is trained by the Order of Atomus. It's one of the basic 12 Jobs and is the starting point for ranged combatants.

Scouts are the entry level spies and recon units who also excel at ranged combat. Featuring the highest Move of any starting Job and excellent Speed, they can explore the battlefield early and often. Their main weakness is Strength and Vitality, they aren't too powerful and they can't take that many hits, so they need to be careful.


In the picture on the right you will see a basic layout of this class' starting stats. These are the stats at Level 1. These numbers are not locked in, they will vary depending on your Gender, Morality, Ethics, and possibly other attributes you can set when hiring a new unit.

The letters you see on the right side are ratings for each stats Growth Rate*. An “S” indicates the stat will grow extremely fast, while an “F” indicates extremely slow growth. The most important stats are the seven (7) attributes starting with Strength and ending in Luck. These stats are used to calculate almost every other attribute, so pay attention to these when choosing a Job.

*The exception to this is Move and Jump, these stats do not grow so the rating is more of an indication of how it compares to other Jobs in it's tier group.


Scouts are on the battlefield as an advanced unit. They are often the first into the fray and the first out, quickly moving around the terrain. Their skills help them accurately weaken enemies from afar without getting themselves mixed up in battle. The Ability, Impede is an attack that has a chance to inflict the target unit with a Slow Debuff. The Passive, Focus, gives them an even better chance at landing a ranged attack as it increases ranged Accuracy by 20%. Note that this bonus does not apply to Melee Weapons such as Daggers.

Scouts need to be light on their feet, so they use very light Armor and Small Shields. Their Weaponry consists of the basic ranged loadout with Bows, Crossbows, and Thrown. They can also use a Dagger if they find themselves in a melee situation, however it's best avoided.
