An Acolytes is a Job that is trained by the Order of Panacea. It's one of the basic 12 Jobs and is the starting point for Magick based healing and support units.

An Acolyte is basically an apprentice priest where the focus is the Spiritual side of Magick Power. Physically Acoloytes perform abysmally and have some of the lowest stat growths, however when it comes to Intellect and Wisdom, they are at the top of the class.

In the picture on the right you will see a basic layout of this class' starting stats. These are the stats at Level 1. These numbers are not locked in, they will vary depending on your Gender, Morality, Ethics, and possibly other attributes you can set when hiring a new unit.

The letters you see on the right side are ratings for each stats Growth Rate*. An “S” indicates the stat will grow extremely fast, while an “F” indicates extremely slow growth. The most important stats are the seven (7) attributes starting with Strength and ending in Luck. These stats are used to calculate almost every other attribute, so pay attention to these when choosing a Job.

*The exception to this is Move and Jump, these stats do not grow so the rating is more of an indication of how it compares to other Jobs in it's tier group.

Acolytes are one of the most important support units you can have. Their ability to heal on the battlefield makes them indispensible. The Ability, Mend is a Magick Ability that can heal a single targeted unit for a little bit of Health. The Passive, Potent, gives them a larger pool of Magic Points to use which is important in the heat of battle.

Light, single target healing spell.
16 MP
Increases Maximum Magick Points by 10%.

Due to their skill with Magick, Equipment is less important to an Acolyte. They can wield three types of Weapons, most of which are meant to enhance their Magick Power. Acolytes can only wear the lightest of Armor and equip the smallest of Shields.
